HP Array Configuration Utility (64-bit) by Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P. is a storage management tool for configuring and maintaining HP Smart Array RAID controllers on HP ProLiant servers. It provides an intuitive interface to create and modify disk arrays and logical drives, set RAID levels (0, 1, 5, 6/ADG, 10, 50), assign hot spares, and adjust cache and stripe settings—often without taking the system offline. The utility also supports array expansion, RAID migration, rebuild operations, and detailed health and status reporting to help optimize performance and data protection. Available with both graphical and command-line options, it supports in-OS and offline workflows and integrates with HP server management tools. Note: On newer platforms, the HP Array Configuration Utility has been succeeded by HPE Smart Storage Administrator (SSA).
